The latest product under the company’s lineup happens to be a smartwatch which is dubbed Haylou. The smartwatch is launched under the company’s Youpin crowdfunding platform. The Xiaomi Haylou smartwatch is priced at CNY 99 in China which translates to somewhere around Rs 1000. The company has so far been able to raise CNY 10 million, as per the report from MyDrivers.

The new Xiaomi Haylou smartwatch sports a 1.3-inch TFT LCD screen which gives out a 240×240 pixels resolution and a wide NTSC colour range. The watch measures 40.9×35.7×11.6 mm and weighs in at just 34 grams. It is available in two colour variants – Black and Silver. The smartwatch comes with Sleep and activity tracking sensors that collect movements related to sports, such as kilometres, speed, steps, calories. Moreover, the Haylou smartwatch features real-life heart-rate monitoring. It also warns the users if/whenever it detects an unusual heart-rate frequency.
Moving on, the Haylou smartwatch comes with smart notifications such as activity reminders, call reminders, sedentary reminders, alarm clock, breath training, and pretty much all the notification alerts a standard smartwatch is supposed to come with. Plus, the Haylou smartwatch features nine training programs – running, hiking, cycling, treadmill, fitness, mountain climbing, spinning bike, yoga, and walking. The Haylou smartwatch features an automatic sleep monitoring sensor which can analyse and monitor one’s sleeping habits at night. If you are getting inadequate sleep, the smartwatch will help you adjust with it and maintain a healthy sleeping style.
For a smartwatch under CNY 99, it is good to see that the Xiaomi Haylou is resistant to dust, rain, splashing, and accidental submersion. At the software front, the company has not specified as to which OS the Haylou smartwatch is running on, but the rumours suggest that it is a custom-designed OS by the company. A 210mAh battery keeps the lights of the Xiaomi Haylou smartwatch on which, as claimed by the company, would last for about 14 days on a single charge.
