After tasting success with its Mi TV series of LED TVs in India, Xiaomi has added two new models in the range. The two new Mi TVs to enter the India market are the Mi Mi TV 4X Pro 55-inch and Mi TV 4A Pro 43-inch. Among the two, the Mi TV 4X Pro packs better specs and is priced higher than the Mi TV 4A Pro. One major difference between the two is that the 4X Pro features a 4K resolution 10-bit panel while the 4A Pro settles for a 1080p display 8-bit panel. Additionally, Xiaomi has also launched a sound bar for the India market. Let us enlighten you on the features and specs of both the new Mi TV models and their price in India.

The Mi TV 4X Pro 55-inch price in India is INR 39,999 while the Mi TV 4A Pro price in India is INR 22,999. The Xiaomi Soundbar price in India is INR 4,999. Both the Mi TVs will be up for grabs via Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores starting January 15, 2019, at 12 PM (noon). Xiaomi’s Mi Soundbar will be up for sale through Mi.com and Mi Home Store, starting January 16, 2019.

At the launch of the two new Mi TVs, Xiaomi India’s Category Lead, Eshwar Nilakantan stated that the Mi LED TVs had received a ‘phenomenal response’ response in India and helped the brand in hitting many milestones such as claiming the spot of top smart TV brand in India. Nilakantan also claimed that the company sold over a million Mi TV units in India, under a span of 9 months. With the launch of two new MI TVs in the new year, Xiaomi has also added a new category to its broad portfolio i.e. Mi Soundbar.

The Mi TV 4X Pro packs a 55-inch 4K UHD 10-bit panel (2160×3840 pixels) with HDR support and 20W stereo speakers offering the top quality DTS-HD surround sound. Just like the previously launched Mi TVs (review), this one also has thin bezels around the screen. It boasts a metallic finish that gives it a premium outlook, Xiaomi calls it Piano Black. The Mi TV 4X Pro comes with a Bluetooth remote that also supports Google Assistant voice commands. On the software front, the 4X Pro runs PatchWall OS that is integrated with content garnered from 14 content partners making up for 700,000+ hours of video content. The list of content partners includes Hotstar, Hungama, Sony Liv, Voot, Eros Now, Zee5, and others. It also has built-in Chromecast, which will enable users to cast any content from their Chrome browser and supported apps to Mi TV 4X Pro.

Under the hood, the Mi TV 4X Pro has a 64-bit Amlogic quad-core processor running the show with Mali-450 GPU, 2GB of RAM and up to 8GB of internal storage. It has 3x HDMI ports, 2x USB port, 1x S/PDIF port, and 1x Ethernet port. Other connectivity options supported by the 4X Pro includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth v4.2.

The Mi TV 4A Pro, on the other hand, features a 43-inch full-HD panel with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. It has the same processor, storage capacity, and the same number of ports with wireless connectivity options as the Mi TV 4X Pro. The only difference lies in the RAM capacity and the presence of a 3.5mm audio jack. The Mi TV 4A Pro has 1GB of RAM.
