We have been hearing a lot about Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship-grade smartphone — the Xiaomi Mi 10 — for a while now. In fact, just days ago, we had reported that Xiaomi plans to launch the device in China only three days from today, on February 13, thanks to a promotional poster that appeared on Weibo. This was the poster that also confirmed that the phone boasts of UFS 3.0 support. The China launch is going to be an online-only event due to the ongoing coronavirus scare in that country. At around the same time, we also published another article in which we revealed that Xiaomi would announce the Mi 10 series internationally on February 23 on the sidelines of MWC 2020.

With the China launch of the Mi 10 just a couple days away, Xiaomi has started posting additional information about the phone on Weibo. The most recent poster, which was posted by Lei Jun of Xiaomi, reveals the color options available for the Mi 10.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Color Options

From the poster, it appears that the device will be offered in at least two color options – Pink and Blue. Another leaked poster had confirmed that the phone would also use LPDDR5 RAM. With the handset being a flagship-class phone, we already know that it will use Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line SoCs. With all this information under our belt, let us, once again, take a closer look at the spec sheet of the Xiaomi Mi 10.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Specifications (Expected)

The Xiaomi Mi 10 series is expected to consists of two handsets — the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro. The Pro version is not a completely different handset and, from what is currently known, is a higher spec’d variant of the ‘standard’ Mi 10. Both these variants will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. While we do not know the storage or RAM capacity, we are aware that the phone will use LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 speeds for data transfer. This should make for faster app loading times and result in an overall improvement in performance. The Mi 10 will also support Wi-Fi 6 for faster data transfer speeds. Rumors also indicate that the Mi 10 will feature a massive 5,000 mAh battery and could support 65W fast charging. Anyway, with just days left for the official announcement, we will get complete details about the phone very soon. As for a prospective India launch, there has been no word from Xiaomi on this front.
