Apart from announcing that the Mi 10 series smartphones will have the Snapdragon 865 SoC, Xiaomi, at the Snapdragon Tech Summit, had revealed that it will launch the Mi 10 smartphones in the first quarter of 2020. However, an exact launch date for the smartphones was unknown. Well, that was the case up until now.
A well-known Twitter account, Xiomishka, has posted a new tweet claiming that Xiaomi will launch the Mi 10 series on 13th February. That’s only ten days far from the current date. According to the leaks and rumors so far, we know that the Mi 10 series will have two smartphones – the standard Mi 10 and the more advanced Mi 10 Pro.
What rumor are we discussing today? This is a new release schedule.

We already know that the Mi 10 Pro will have Snapdragon 865 SoC, but what about its other specifications? Well, according to a leaked spec-sheet of the Mi 10 Pro, the device will pack 16GB of RAM, 512GB of internal storage, Android 10 OS, a 6.4-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, a 5250mAh battery, a jaw-dropping 66W fast charging, and a 108MP + 16MP + 12MP + 5MP quad-camera setup at the rear. It is also said to have a more premium body than that of the Mi 10.
And what about the Mi 10? Well, you can expect it to miss out on a few features that the Mi 10 Pro will have, such as a 120Hz refresh rate, 66W charging, and a premium chassis. It could also come with a lesser amount of RAM capacity and a smaller battery pack. Expect both the smartphones to launch in 4G and 5G versions, depending upon the markets. Since the Mi series devices haven’t made to the Indian market for quite a long, don’t expect the brand to launch the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro either in the country.
