Xiaomi has launched a new Mi 11 series smartphone in India. After announcing the Mi 11 Ultra at the Mi 11X series launch, the Chinese smartphone giant has unveiled the Mi 11 Lite in India. It is the most affordable smartphone under Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone series. The USP of the Mi 11 Lite though is its thin and lightweight form factor. The smartphone under Rs 25,000 has a 6.81mm thickness and weighs only 157 grams. It is among the most lightweight smartphones in India. The device also packs some value for money hardware. Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite price in India
Xiaomi has launched two variants of the Mi 11 Lite in India. The base variant features 6GB of RAM and packs 128GB of internal storage. It is priced at Rs 21,999. There is also an 8GB + 128GB variant priced at Rs 23,999. As part of the early-bird pricing, both variants are priced at Rs 20,499 and Rs 22,499. Additionally, HDFC Bank cardholders can claim a Rs 1,500 discount on the device. The smartphone comes in three colours – Tuscany Coral, Jazz Blue, and Vinyl Black. It will go on sale starting June 25 via Mi.com, Flipkart, Mi Home Stores, etc.
Specifications and features
The new Xiaomi smartphone features a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The 10-bit display comes with features like a 90Hz refresh rate, 800 nits brightness and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and HDR10 support.
Under the hood, the device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor and Adreno 618 GPU. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Xiaomi has packed a 4,250 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
In terms of optics, there is a triple-camera setup on the back. It features a 64MP f/1.9 primary sensor. There is also an 8MP ultrawide sensor with a 119-degree FoV and a 5MP tele-macro camera. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 16MP front camera inside the hole-punch cutout. It also comes with camera features like Vlog mode, AI Skyscaping 3.0, Pro time-lapse mode, and more.
The 4G smartphone comes with connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dual speaker setup. The device runs Android 11– based MIUI 12 out of the box.
