Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro Could Possibly be Announced at Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech: Expected Specifications, Features

Xiaomi is likely to unveil its next-generation flagship smartphone series at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit. The annual Qualcomm summit, which is typically hosted in Hawai, will be an online-only event due to the pandemic. Qualcomm on Weibo said that Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun will be attending its two-day event starting on December 1, 2020. At the event, Jun is expected to unveil the Xiaomi Mi 11, 11 Pro flagship smartphones. Xiaomi Mi 11 series could be announced at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit in December 2020

The Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit will be hosted for two days starting December 1, 2020. At the event, the chip-maker is expected to unveil its next flagship processor, Snapdragon 875. 

At the same event, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun could announce the Mi 11 series that will get powered by the flagship Snapdragon chipset.

Xiaomi is expected to launch Mi 11 and 11 Pro as its flagship smartphones for 2021. Recently, a Xiaomi smartphone with the model number M2012K11C was spotted on Geekbench. The device, which is said to be the Mi 11, was running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC with 6GB RAM. The listing further revealed that M2012K11C would run on Android 11 out of the box.

The standard Mi 11 is expected to come with a 48MP ultra-wide sensor with a 0.8μm pixel size.

The upcoming Xiaomi flagship is also expected to come with advanced settings for enhanced imaging and video settings. These include MEMC support, real-time SDR to HDR, etc. 

The Mi 11 Pro is likely to come with these features as well. Other than this, the 11 Pro will feature a QHD+ display with support for the 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is also rumoured to have curved edges and a hole-punch cutout placed on the top-left corner.
