Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro May Sport 80W Fast Wireless Charging: Leak

The 80W wireless charger can charge a smartphone with a 4,000mAh battery in just 19 minutes.

Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Mi 11 last month at an event in China. The Xiaomi Mi 11 is the world’s first phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. We have been hearing rumors that the company is planning to introduce a Pro variant under the lineup in February. Now, a leak by Digital Chat Station suggests that the upcoming Mi 11 Pro will feature 80W wireless charging. To recall, Xiaomi had announced 80W wireless charging back in October 2020. As per company claims, the 80W wireless charger can charge a smartphone with a 4,000mAh battery in just 19 minutes.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro might feature 80W Wireless Charging!

If the leak turns out to be true, Mi 11 Pro will hold the crown of the fastest (wireless) charging phone. As of now, Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, launched in August 2020, is the phone to feature the fastest (50W) wireless charging in the world. The leaker further reveals that the company has already developed technology. But, it needs verification and certification from authorities before the company starts mass-producing it.

Previously, Digital Chat Station had leaked some key specifications of the upcoming Mi 11 Pro. The Mi 11 Pro will reportedly feature a 6.81-inch QHD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz sampling rate. Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro should feature a 108MP primary lens, similar to the Mi 11. Additionally, it will also offer a periscope lens with 10x optical zoom, and 120x hybrid zoom inside a huge rectangular camera module.

The Mi 11 Pro should sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC under-the-hood, and might also offer 120W fast charging.
