Xiaomi is expanding its smartphone charging accessories lineup in India with the launch of Mi 33W Sonic Charge 2.0. The new fast charger from Xiaomi India is an upgrade over the 27W Sonic charger that was launched alongside the Redmi K20 series last year. The new 33W Sonic Charge 2.0 fast charger is compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. As the name suggests, the 33W Sonic Charge 2.0 can support up to 33W fast charging. Xiaomi is shipping its fast charging adapter with a 100 cm long USB Type-A to Type-C charging cable. Let’s take a look at the new Xiaomi 33W Sonic Charge 2.0 charger price and its features.
Xiaomi launches Mi 33W Sonic Charge 2.0 in India
The new Xiaomi 33W Sonic Charge 2.0 is a Made in India product and is certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The fast charging adapter can charge devices at up to 33W. It also has the capability to regulate power output depending on the device.
The Mi 33W Sonic Charge 2.0 is Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0-certified. Xiaomi is packing a USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable with the 33W Sonic Charge 2.0. The charging cable is 1 meter long.
Furthermore, the Xiaomi 33W Sonic Charge 2.0 supports a universal voltage range of 100-240V. Xiaomi claims that its 33W Sonic Charge 2.0 comes with surge protection of up to 380V.
The new 33W Sonic Charge 2.0 is priced at Rs 999 and is available for purchase via mi.com, Mi Home Stores, and other retail stores across India.
Xiaomi also offers other fast charging adapters like the 27W Sonic Charge adapter priced at Rs 549, and the 18W Dual Port charging adapter. The company, previously, had launched a Mi 30W Wireless Charging pad in India for Rs 2,299.
