Along with Mi TVs and the Mi Water Purifier, Xiaomi has also launched the Mi Band 4 in India today. The Mi Band 4, as you might expect, comes as the successor to the Mi Band 3 that is currently on sale in the country. The Mi Band 4 made its debut a few weeks ago in China, and the wearable brings significant upgrades over its predecessor. A few highlight features of the device include color AMOLED touchscreen and 50 meters of water resistance.  Here are the complete specifications and pricing of the Mi Band 4.

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 Price in India

Xiaomi has launched the Mi Band 4 in India at INR 2,299. That’s just INR 300 more than what the Mi Band 3 costs. And believe me, the increased price is totally justified considering the upgrades the Mi Band 4 brings over its predecessor (Read specifications to know more).

Anyway, the Mi Band 4 will be available starting 19th September at 12 PM from Mi online store, Amazon India, and Mi Home. There is currently no information if the Mi Band 4 will be available through Mi Partners (3rd party Mi retailers).

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 Specifications

The biggest upgrade that the Mi Band 4 brings over its predecessor is in the display department. The wearable has a 0.95-inch color AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 120 pixels. In comparison, the Mi Band 3 has a 0.78-inch monochrome screen. I think the display alone justifies the increase in price. Anyway, Xiaomi says that the display of Mi Band 4 can reach a maximum brightness of 400 nits. There is also a 2.5D glass on top with anti-fingerprint coating.

The Mi Band 4 has a custom chipset and operating system, and the brand hasn’t revealed specifics regarding either of them. Xiaomi has, however, revealed that the wearable has 512KB of RAM and 16MB of ROM. That might not sound a lot, but considering that the OS is basic, you RAM and storage capacities should be enough. When it comes to battery life, Xiaomi says that the Mi Band 4 can last up to 20 days. That’s quite impressive, especially when you consider that there is a color AMOLED touchscreen.

Coming to main functionalities of the Mi Band 4, it can track a number of fitness activities including treadmill walking/running, exercise, outdoor running, cycling, walking, and pool swimming.  The wearable can also count steps, distance traveled, and calories burned. Apart from tracking fitness activities, the Mi Band 4 can show you time, date, and day. It can even alert you of the messages, calls, and other notifications that you get on your smartphone. The Mi Band 4 can either be used with Android or iOS device.
