Xiaomi is reported to be in the works to launch its brand new fitness tracker, dubbed the Xiaomi Mi Band 4C soon. That said, there is still some time for the latest one to launch. Today, we will focus on the company’s existing fitness tracker, the Mi Band 4. The Mi Band 4 has been receiving software updates every now and then. It recently received yet another software update, which comes with an all-new activity heart rate sharing feature. Plus, the latest update for the Mi Band 4 comes with several design changes. Take a look at the latest update for the Mi Band 4 and find out what it has in store for us.
Xiaomi Mi Band 4 Latest Update: Changelog and Features
The latest update for the Mi Band 4 has the software build number V1.0.9.48. It brings about the latest feature, which enables you to share your heart rate activity. Alongside that, the latest update features a revamped band display settings section. Plus, users of the Mi Band 4 will now be able to rate the watch faces available in the store, which would essentially help developers find out as to which watch faces are doing well and which ones need improvement.
As far as the activity heart rate tracking feature is concerned, though it is a brand new feature for the Mi Band 4, it is not entirely new, as the Mi Band 3 already has the same. The company (strangely) removed the feature from the Mi Band 4 when it launched without any explanation whatsoever. If you want to make use of the function, you have to enable it first and pair the Mi Band 4 with the device of your choice. Post that, the Mi Band 4 will share data with smartphones and other smart devices. The shared data will be helpful to keep a good health report.

Moving on to the band display settings, the settings menu has now been redesigned. After the latest update, you will find your best watch faces in a particular category first. Additionally, you can store a watch face in the favorites section to be able to make use of it later down the line. Lastly, you can rate the watch faces from 1 to 5.
The latest Mi Band 4 update is currently live in India and Vietnam and will soon reach other markets as well. To receive the latest update on your Mi Band 4, you need to update your Mi Fit app to the latest V1.1.0 build from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. From there, you can easily update your Mi Band 4.
