It has been almost two years, and the smartphone lineup is due a refresh. Now, a new leak claims that Xiaomi is working on the Mi CC10 smartphone, and it will sport a flagship-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. To recall, Mi CC9 series smartphone launched with mid-tier Snapdragon processors, so this will a big change in Xiaomi’s strategy for the CC lineup of devices.

A Weibo tipster Bald Panda revealed that the upcoming CC10 smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. Going by this claim, the Mi CC10 will not be a mid-range smartphone. This will be one of the biggest changes compared to the previous-gen Mi CC series smartphone. To recall, the Mi CC9 Pro, CC9, and CC9e offered Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G, 710, and 665 SoC respectively.
