Xiaomi is about to begin the Black Friday sales in India. The sales will begin on November 29 and will end on December 2. At the very end of the sale, we will get to see an all-new TV from the company go on sale. Xiaomi has launched a new Mi TV 4X (55-inch) 2020 edition today. The company has confirmed the news today via its official Twitter handle (India).

The Xiaomi Mi TV 4X (55) 2020 edition comes with a price tag of INR 34,999 in India. The first sale will commence on December 2, 12 noon. Interested buyers can get the TV via mi.com, amazon.in, and Mi Home. As of now, the company has not revealed any discount offers or cashback schemes for the TV.

Owing to the fact that Xiaomi sold over 6 million TV units during the Diwali sale, the company sees a profitable market in India and has come up with yet another TV dubbed the Xiaomi Mi TV 4X 2020 (55) 2020 edition.

As the name suggests, the TV sports a 55-inch (138.8cm) 4K HDR display. The display is backed up with the company’s proprietary Vivid Picture Engine. The Vivid Picture Engine, as claimed by the company, brings a balance between color, contrast, and saturation to provide for the best possible image quality.

For sound, the Xiaomi Mi TV 4X (55) 2020 edition comes with 20W Dolby Audio and DTS HD support.

As far as the content is concerned, the Mi TV 4X 2020 edition comes with support for all the major streaming services in India, including the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, plus 16 other content partners. Furthermore, the Mi TV 4X 2020 edition has PatchWell 2.0 support that has 7 live news channels that one can watch.

Moving on to the OS, the Mi TV 4X 2020 runs on Android TV 9.0 out of the box. There is native support for Google Assistant which can come in handy to discover content with one’s voice. Adding to it, the TV comes with Google’s data saver which is useful for those who rely on a limited set of data, such as data used via a mobile Hotspot. As claimed, the data saver feature ensures that you can watch up to 3 times more content when enabled.
