Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 Processor and Camera Details Leaked Ahead of the Launch

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 Core Specifications Leaked

As mentioned before, Xiaomi UI spotted the MIX Fold 3 listing on the IMEI Database website. Not only does the listing confirms an impending launch but two key specifications of the upcoming device. According to the leak, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 will be powered by the latest and greatest processor from Qualcomm – the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Notably, this is the same processor that also powers the latest Xiaomi flagship – Xiaomi 13 Ultra (review) that launched last week.

That’s not the only shared specifications between the two devices. The leak also confirms that the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 will feature the 50MP Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor on the rear panel. This is the same primary camera as the Xiami 13 Ultra. Safe to say that the upcoming foldable flagship will share identical specifications with Xiaomi 13 Ultra, except for the form factor.

We can expect the MIX Fold 3 to feature the same design as its predecessor. To recall, the MIX Fold 2 features a 6.56-inch cover screen and an 8.02-inch foldable display. However, bear in mind that the MIX Fold 3 is still in the testing phase and the final design might be different from what we know.

As for the specifications, if the upcoming device indeed shares its specs with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra we can expect LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. A 50MP Sony IMX858 ultra-wide camera, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom, and another 50MP Sony IMX858 sensor with 5x optical zoom backing the primary 50MP Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor. On the cover display, we can expect a 32MP camera.

Additionally, the MIX Fold 3 might come with a 5000mAh battery with support for 90W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It might boot Android 13 out of the box with a layer of MIUI 14 on top.
