Xiaomi has launched its new Android tablet, the Pad 5 Pro 12.4 in China. The Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4-inch is the fourth tablet in the Pad 5 series. The company previously launched the Pad 5, Pad 5 Pro and the Pad 5 Pro 5G with an 11-inch display. The Pad 5 Pro 12.4-inch is the most premium offering in the lineup.

The Xiaomi Pad Pro 12.4 has been launched with three storage options. The base model has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is priced at CNY 2799 (roughly Rs 33,000). The 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 3299 (roughly Rs 38,900), whereas the 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at CNY 3999 (roughly Rs 47,200).
The 12.4-inch model continues to sport an LCD. It has a 2.5K resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also comes with features like P3 colour gamut, HDR10 certification, Dolby Vision, etc. It has a peak brightness of 500 nits.
The Pad 5 Pro 12.4 weighs about 620 grams and measures 284.96 x 185.23 x 6.66mm.
Under the hood, the 12.4-inch Pad 5 Pro has a Snapdragon 870 SoC. It packs a beefy 10,000 mAh battery and also supports 67W fast charging. Xiaomi claims that the 12.4-inch tablet can charge from zero to 100 per cent in 68 minutes. The Android tablet has a quad-speaker setup and two microphones for clear video calls. It runs Android 12-based MIUI 13 for Pad out of the box.
The Pad 5 Pro also has a triple-camera setup. It features a 50MP main camera and two 2MP depth-of-field sensors. For selfies and video calls, there is a 20MP front camera. Lastly, the 12.4-inch variant of the Pad 5 Pro comes in Green, Silver and Black colour options.
