Xiaomi Pad 6 Specifications Leaked

The Xiaomi Pad 6 will be a mid-range Android tablet launching on April 18 in China. It has been spotted on the FCC website ahead of its launch. The Pad 6 has the model number 23043RP34G. The listing confirms the battery specs and some other details of the tablet. As per the listing, the Xiaomi tablet packs a battery with a rated capacity of 4320mAh. This suggests that the typical capacity of the tablet’s battery would be about 4500mAh.

The listing also reveals that the Pad 6 will run MIUI 14 out of the box. It is likely to be based on Android 13. The tablet supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) as well.

The devices were tested with a charging adapter with the model number MDY-12-EA. This charging adapter supports 33W fast charging. It is not the fastest charging standard for mid-range tablets. In fact, some rumours suggested that the Pad 6 series will launch with 67W fast charging support. It could be possible that the Pad 6 supports only 33W charging, whereas the Pad 6 Pro will offer 67W fast charging. Xiaomi is expected to announce more details soon.

The listing also confirms that the tab listed on the FCC website has 6GB and 8GB of RAM options. Both models have 128GB of storage as standard. The 8GB RAM variant also arrives with a 256GB storage option.

Separately, Xiaomi has confirmed that the Pad 6 will feature a Snapdragon 870 SoC. The premium chipset is now fairly old but can handle most tasks. The Pad 6 Pro, on the other hand, will get a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood. The teasers suggest that the Pad 6 series will have a flat frame design and a dual-camera setup on the back. There will be support for a smart stylus and a keyboard as well. The stylus for the Pad 6 has also cleared the FCC and IMDA certification ahead of its launch.

Other leaked details include the Pad 6 sporting an 11-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels. The tablet might offer support for 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate. The Pad 6 Pro is also likely to pack up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The company is likely to launch the Pad 6 series in India. However, Xiaomi has not confirmed any details about the same. More details will be available soon. Meanwhile, let us know your thoughts about the Pad 6 series in the comments below.
