Xiaomi Pad 6 Max Confirmed to Launch on August 14 with a 14-Inch Display
Xiaomi Pad 6 Max will join Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro in the lineup.
Xiaomi has several core specifications and the official launch date of the Pad 6 Max on its Weibo handle. According to the teaser shared by Xiaomi, the 14-inch display of Pad 6 Max is 62% bigger than the 11-inch display of its siblings – Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro. Xiaomi has not revealed the resolution, but leaks have confirmed that the display will feature a 144Hz refresh rate.
The teaser images also confirm dual cameras on the front and back of the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, likely to be a camera + 3D ToF sensor setup. It’s clear that Xiaomi is targeting the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra with its upcoming launch.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max has also been confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the same as the Pad 6 Pro. However, the Pad 6 Max will feature a humongous heat dissipation area of 15839mm² for enhanced thermal management while playing demanding games like Genshin Impact. As of now, there is no word on the RAM and Storage configuration of the tablet.
Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Pad 6 Max will be powered by a beefy 10,000mAh battery, which supports 67W fast charging. The brand has confirmed that the top-end tablet will also support 33W reverse charging to fast-charge compatible devices. The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max is also equipped with a Surge G1 chip, designed to reduce battery ageing significantly.
Lastly, the Pad 6 Max is confirmed to come with a powerful eight-speaker system for a powerful audio output during gaming and streaming sessions. Xiaomi has also confirmed other functions like a native four-window split screen and WPS Office PC for Pad for computer-like office performance.
Xiaomi has confirmed almost everything except for the price and configuration of the device. We should also get to know those as soon as we near the launch. The brand will launch some of the much-anticipated devices like Mix Fold 3, Redmi K60 Ultra, and Xiaomi Band 8 Pro at the same event.
