Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of a new event in China on April 18. The company has confirmed that it will launch the flagship Xiaomi 13 Ultra at the event. The top-of-the-line Xiaomi smartphone will pack some powerful hardware, with the camera being its highlight spec. Alongside, Xiaomi has also confirmed to launch the Pad 6 series in China. The company will launch two new Android tablets at the event. There will be the vanilla Pad 6 on top of which will be the Pad 6 Pro. 

Xiaomi has been teasing the key specifications and features of its upcoming Android tablets. The latest teaser confirms (via) the display and battery features of the devices. Let’s take a look at the Xiaomi Pad 6 series specifications, features and other details known so far.


Xiaomi Pad 6 Series: What is Known So Far

Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch the Pad 6 series with Snapdragon SoCs. The company has now revealed more details about the new tablets. Xiaomi has confirmed that the Pad 6 Pro, which will be the top-of-the-line tablet, will pack an 8600mAh battery under the hood. The battery capacity is the same as the Pad 5 Pro. The tablet is said to offer up to 47.9 days of standby time on a full charge.

Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Pro model will offer support for 67W fast charging out of the box. In addition to this, the company revealed that the Pad 6 will pack an 8840mAh battery. While the battery capacity is bigger than the Pro model, the Pad 6 is confirmed to support 33W fast charging out of the box.

The Pad 6 series is also confirmed to offer a display with up to 2.8K resolution. The screen will refresh up to 144Hz and have a density of 309PPI.

The company did not reveal the screen sizes of the two tablets. However, as per the rumour mill, the Pad 6 series will sport an 11-inch display. The standard model is likely to feature an IPS LCD, whereas the Pro model might sport an AMOLED panel.

The rear panel is confirmed to feature a dual-camera setup on the back. The Pad 6 series might feature a 50MP main camera sensor. Details about the secondary sensor are unknown at the moment.

Xiaomi has also confirmed the processor details of the tablets. The Pad 6 is confirmed to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood. The Pad 6 Pro will pack a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is last year’s flagship SoC. Lastly, both tablets are expected to run Android 13 out of the box and have a layer of MIUI 14 on top.

At the moment, it is unknown if both models will make it to global markets. Rumours suggest that the Pad 6 Pro will be a China-exclusive product.
