Xiaomi is working towards the launch of the Mi Pad 5 and the Redmi 10 smartphones, and it’s no secret. The company’s upcoming tablet is subject to multiple leaks from the last few days. The tablet’s design renders were leaked online a few days ago. Additionally, the Mi Pad 5 series had gained the TENAA certification in China a few days back. The TENAA certification revealed the model number, variants, and charging capabilities of the Mi Pad 5 series. The Redmi 10 was even spotted at FCC certification last week. The FCC listing had revealed the phone’s storage option and software version ahead of launch. Now, in a recent development, the Redmi 10 and the Mi Pad 5 have received the SIRIM certification. Additionally, the Redmi 10 has also received the green signal from Indonesia Telecom certification ahead of launch. Let’s check the details revealed by these certifications ahead:
Redmi 10 Gains Indonesia Telecom Certification
If we go by the details revealed by the Indonesia Telecom certification, we can see that the Redmi 10 carries the model number as 21061119AG. Additionally, Indonesia Telecom reveals the moniker as the Redmi 10. The same device has also gained the SIRIM certification with model number as 21061119AG. The Redmi 10 (21061119AG) as mentioned above had also received the FCC certification last week. As per the details disclosed by the FCC documents, the company’s upcoming budget-oriented device is tipped to arrive in three RAM and storage configurations which include – 4GB + 64GB storage, 4GB + 128GB storage, and 6GB + 128GB storage options. On the software side of things, the handset might run MIUI 12.5 out of the box.
The Redmi 10 was even spotted on the IMEI website with the same 21061119AG model. Additionally, the device was seen at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website with model number 21061119BI. Moving on to the Mi Pad 5 details, this upcoming tablet has gained the SIRIM certification in Malaysia as mentioned above. The SIRIM certification reveals the tablet’s model number as 21051182G. Apart from the model number, the SIRIM certification doesn’t reveal any specifications of the tablet. The previous leak suggests that the Mi Pad 5 will come with a 10.95-inch 120Hz LCD display and it will be powered by Snapdragon 870 chipset. In terms of imaging, the tablet is said to feature a dual-camera setup which might consist of a 20MP primary sensor and a 13MP secondary lens.
Alongside the Mi Pad 5, Xiaomi also might launch the Mi Pad 5 Lite, Mi Pad 5 Plus, and Mi Pad 5 Pro. It is said that all the Mi Pad 5 series will be unveiled by Xiaomi in China next month.
