Xiaomi will launch a new variant of the Redmi 9 power very soon in India. The smartphone will launch with a 6GB RAM variant. It will sit above the 4GB RAM options that are currently offered with 64GB and 128GB storage.

According to 91Mobiles and Ishan Agarwal, the device will launch in India for Rs 12,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option. It will join the other two variants with 4GB / 64GB storage and 4GB/ 128GB storage priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 11,999, respectively.
Xiaomi Redmi 9 Power specifications
The Redmi 9 Power features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The screen comes with 400 nits of brightness and has a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 for added protection.
Under the hood, the phone draws its power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor. It is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The memory is expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card.
At the back, the device offers a quad-camera setup. It has a 48MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calling.
The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The Redmi 9 Power runs on Android 10 out of the box. It has a layer of MIUI 12 running on top.
