
Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 10S later this week in the country. While, the Redmi Note 10S will be the first device to ship with MIUI 12.5 in India, a couple of Redmi Note 10 series devices have already started receiving the update in the country. As reported by several users on Twitter, the Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max are now receiving MIUI 12.5 update in India. Though, it is a Stable Beta Build, and the rollout is limited only to MIUI Pilot Testers for now.

As reported by several users, the Note 10 Pro, and Note 10 Pro are receiving MIUI 12.5 update with version 12.5.1.0.RKFINXM. The OTA update weighs around 732MBs in size, and brings a host of changes to both devices. The update brings custom device model adjustments, which will make phone faster. The company also claims that gestures will feel more responsive.
Xiaomi claims that MIUI 12.5 is faster, lighter than the previous version. It is said to have 35 percent less background memory and 25 percent less power consumption. The company has also reduced the overall system apps, which can be uninstalled by the users depending on their requirement. Let us take a look at the changelogs,

Readers must note that this is a Pilot Testing build, so they can not flash it manually on the devices simply by updater app. To install MIUI 12.5.1.0 update on the device, users need to flash custom recovery on their unit.
