Xiaomi Redmi Note 10T, Redmi Note 10s, Redmi 9 Power and More Receive Silent Price Hikes in India: Here’s How Much They Cost Now

Xiaomi has been quietly increasing the price of its budget smartphones in India. The company recently gave the Redmi Note 10 4GB RAM variant its fourth hike since its launch in March. The device, which was launched for Rs 11,999 in India is now available for Rs 13,999. It is not the only Redmi smartphone in India to get a price hike. Xiaomi has been quietly increasing the prices of the Note 10 Pro models. It looks like the entry-level and more budget phones from Redmi have got a price bump now. Among the list of new Xiaomi Redmi phones which have got a price hike is the Redmi Note 10T.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10T is Redmi’s budget 5G smartphone with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. It was launched in India for Rs 13,999 for the base 4GB + 64GB RAM variant. The device is currently listed on mi.com at Rs 14,499. The 6GB RAM variant has also received a Rs 1,000 price bump. It is now available for Rs 16,999 compared to its launch price of Rs 15,999.

The Redmi Note 10S 6GB + 128GB variant, which was launched with a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC and a 5,000 mAh battery, is now available for 16,499. The storage configuration was launched in India for Rs 15,999. Xiaomi continues to sell the 6GB + 64GB for Rs 14,999 on its website.

Redmi 9 Power, which was launched in India for Rs 10,999, has received a Rs 500 price bump as well. The device is now available on Mi India’s website for Rs 11,499. While the 4GB + 128GB model continues to retail for Rs 11,999, the 6GB + 128GB variant is available for Rs 13,499, as opposed to its Rs 12,999 launch price.

Two smartphones under Rs 10,000 from Redmi, the Redmi 9 and Redmi 9i, have also received a price hike. The Redmi 9, which was launched for Rs 8,999, is now available for Rs 9,499. For the price, users get 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The price of the 4GB + 128GB variant remains unchanged.

Lastly, the Redmi 9i, which was launched for 8,299, is now available for 8,799 for the base 4GB + 64GB model. There is also a 4GB + 128GB model, which is available for Rs 9,299 launch price.

It seems like Redmi is getting hit by the increasing component prices coupled with other factors like increasing fuel costs. The company has not announced any reason for the sudden price hike spree. We will inform our readers once there is an official statement.
