The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has officially launched in India today, and it succeeds the Redmi Note 5 Pro (Review) as the next ‘value-oriented’ smartphone with powerful hardware and noteworthy features. To celebrate its unveiling, the handset will go on sale later today at Flipkart with a special introductory price of INR 12,999. As always, there will be several offers that come with the purchase of the Redmi Note 6 Pro.

An immediate advantage of the Redmi Note 6 Pro going on sale is that the Redmi Note 5 Pro will now feature a lower price tag. So, if there is any reason you can find for not picking up the Redmi Note 6 Pro, you can always purchase its predecessor at a lower price.

The smartphone is fueled by a Snapdragon 636 SoC, with both memory variants on sale sporting expandable storage via microSD card slot. The device also comes with a 12MP+5MP dual-camera at the back, with another dual-selfie shooter sporting a 20MP+2MP configuration.
