Xiaomi has announced a Summer Service Camp campaign in India. As the name suggests, it is aimed at offering special customer support benefits to its customers in the country. It is a 10-day event starting June 1 during which Xiaomi and Redmi users will be able to avail of perks like discounts on battery replacement, zero labour charges, free phone health check-ups, and more. Xiaomi India announced Summer Service Camp through a tweet shared via its official Twitter account. It revealed that the special smartphone service camp will begin June 1 i.e. tomorrow. The camp will go on for the next 10 days which is until June 10. This should be plenty of time for any user interested in availing the benefits of the camp.

The first thing to note is that this camp is only for Xiaomi and Redmi smartphone users. It means if you have other products from these brands or you are a Poco user, these benefits cannot be availed by you.
Xiaomi Summer Service Camp benefits are:
- 100% free phone health check-up
- 100% off on labour charges
- Free software update
- Up to 50% off on battery replacement
It is the battery replacement discount that is likely to attract a higher number of customers. But before you get too excited, Xiaomi says this is applicable only to select models. The official list has not been revealed but it is expected to cover newer models as compared to old-age ones. Also, the exact battery replacement discount should vary based on the smartphone model.
How to Avail Xiaomi Summer Service Camp Benefits?
Xiaomi says eligible Xiaomi and Redmi smartphone users can visit any authorized service centre across India. The company boasts over 1,000 service centres which means you should not have much trouble finding one nearby you. You can visit the official Xiaomi website or use the Xiaomi Service+ application to get a complete list of service centres.
In other related news, Xiaomi India has extended the warranty for five smartphones. These are Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Xiaomi 11 Ultra, and POCO X3 Pro. These phones will now get two years of warranty support from the date of purchase.
