Xiaomi has unveiled a new smartwatch in China. The Watch Colour 2 is Xiaomi’s new smartwatch offering, which comes at a slightly premium cost. As expected from a Xiaomi smartwatch, the device comes with various health and fitness-related features. The new watch comes with as many as 117 workout modes. Xiaomi has also added a Blood Oxygen SpO2 monitoring sensor in the Watch Colour 2. There is no word on whether the new smartwatch will launch in India anytime soon. Xiaomi Watch Colour 2 launched
The new Xiaomi Watch Colour 2 has been launched in China. It comes with a price tag of CNY 899, which is roughly Rs 10,250. The smartwatch comes with six different colour wrist strap versions, which can be purchased as a separate accessory.
The Colour 2 smartwatch from Xiaomi comes with a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED display. It has a pixel density of 326PPI. The screen also comes with support for a 60Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi stated that its new smartwatch has support for over 200 watch faces, which can be customised as per the user’s preferences.
The right edge of the watch has two buttons for power on/off and exploring the menu. It comes with multiple fitness and workout modes. There are a total of 117 workout modes, including cycling, jogging, running, badminton, swimming, indoor cycling, outdoor walk, etc. Xiaomi also stated that the Watch has a built-in GPS for outdoor activities, which means that users do not need to carry their smartphone every time they go for a workout. In addition to these, the smartwatch also supports third-party applications.
In terms of health-related features, the new Xiaomi watch comes with a 24-hour heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor and sleep tracker. The smartwatch is also water-resistant up to 5 meters. The company claims that its new smartwatch offers up to 12 days of battery life with the 470 mAh cell packed inside.
