
The Xiaomi Watch S3 specifications have now surfaced courtesy of the details shared by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The Xiaomi Watch S3 will be the fourth smartwatch from Xiaomi in the S-series, as the company has previously introduced the Xiaomi S2, the Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro, and the Xiaomi S1 in December 2022, August 2022, and December 2021, respectively.
Xiaomi Watch S3 Tipped To Pack 520mAh Battery
As per the specifications shared by Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Xiaomi Watch S3 will have an OLED display. The smartwatch is expected to pack a 520mAh battery. The details shared by the tipster also reveal that the smartwatch will have 4G connectivity support, voice calling and several health monitoring features. The tipster also has mentioned in the Weibo post comment section that this new smartwatch will be announced by Xiaomi alongside the Xiaomi 14 series in November this year.
Currently, the other specifications of the Xiaomi Watch S3 remain under wrap. Additionally, the brand has not revealed any details regarding the Watch S3 launch date. This upcoming smartwatch from Xiaomi will arrive as a successor to the Watch S2 which was launched by the end of last year.
To recall, the Xiaomi Watch S2 42mm variant features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a 466 × 466 pixel resolution and a 353 PPI pixel density, while the 46mm model comes with a 1.43-inch display. Furthermore, it also has a heart rate sensor, a blood oxygen monitoring sensor, an ambient light sensor, and a temperature sensor. The smartwatch also can track over 100+ sports modes. The 42mm model packs a 305mAh battery, whereas the 46mm variant ships with a 500mAh battery. The prior can last for 7 days on moderate usage, while the latter offers a 12-day battery life on a single charge.
It also has Bluetooth v5.2 support, and other connectivity features such as GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo, and NFC for payments. The price of the Xiaomi Watch S2 in China starts at RMB 999 (roughly Rs 11,360), and it comes in Black, Gold, and Silver colours.
The Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro which debuted in August last year comes with a 1.47-inch AMOLED display. It has a 480 x 480 pixels resolution, 462 PPI pixel density, and 600 nits brightness. The smartwatch has 5ATM water resistant, Bluetooth v5.2 and BLE support. The other key features that it offers include 14 days of battery life, a heart rate sensor, SpO2 monitoring, and a 500mAh battery. It costs £299 (roughly Rs 31,300) and comes in Black and Silver colours.
