Design and Display
The smartphone has a 7.09-inch IPS LCD touch screen that offers a Full HD+ pixel resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The 20:9 aspect ratio display features an excellent viewing appearance and produces a pixel density of 371 pixels per inch (PPI). Honor X40 Max 5G includes a punch-hole design at the top-center of the screen that covers the selfie camera.

Honor X40 Max 5G gets a triple-camera setup on the rear that comprises a 64MP wide-angle lens with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth lens bundled with an LED flashlight. The device comes with an 8MP resolution camera with an f/2 aperture on the screen that helps you to take selfies and video calls. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports a face unlock that works via a selfie camera.

This new smartphone from Honor uses a 7nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus MT6889 chipset, which is compatible with 5G and 4G Volte networks. Honor X40 Max 5G boots the smartphone with the Android 12 version out of the box.

The device gets fueled by a 4500mAh battery that offers a long-lasting backup for more than a day and supports a 67W fast charging feature via a USB Type-C port. Honor X40 Max 5G includes the connectivity options like dual-SIM support, 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, A-GPS with Glonass, NFC chipset, infrared sensor, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
