HTC Desire 700 sports a
5-inch IPS LCD display with 960 540 pixel resolution and pushes pixel density of 220 PPI (pixels per inch). Such large and pleasing display is ideal to consume multimedia but may not be a match with the modern day 720p HD touting models. HTC has housed a
quad-core 1.2 GHz Spreadtrum Shark mobile chipset based on ARM Cortex-A7 processor design. This mobile chipset is beefed with 1GB of RAM and offers 8 GB of built-in storage. While the basic hardware is just enough to run the HTC Sense 5.0 User Interface packaged on top of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update. But there is no word on whether it will ever taste latest Android version.
