Huawei Mate 10 Lite

Huawei announced the release of a scaled down version of their recently released Huawei Mate 10 Pro, the Huawei Mate 10 Lite. The device has slightly lesser RAM and storage space but is identical to the Pro version in all other respects. It lacks IP68 certification, unlike the Pro version, making the device a little less robust. 

The Huawei Mate 10 Lite sports a massive 5.88-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1440 x 2560(~500 ppi pixel density) which is powered by a Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. It also lacks a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass, making it a little more susceptible to damage. The primary cameras are a dual 20+12-megapixels with optical image stabilization, phase detection autofocus, laser autofocus, dual-tone LED flash, HDR and panorama. It can record 4k videos at 30 fps and 1080p videos at up to 60 fps. The secondary camera is a more modest 8-megapixel shooter which does a decent job at selfies and video calling. The primary camera's performance is stellar and gives their competitors products a run for their money. 

At the heart of the Huawei Mate 10 Lite is an octa core Hisilicon Kirin 970 CPU with four cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four cores clocked at 1.8GHz, along with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD expansion. The battery is a massive 4,000mAh Li-polymer unit, which is sufficient to power the device for a full day even with heavy usage. It also features a rear mounted fingerprint scanner which adds another layer of security to the phone. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro runs Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box, customised by EMUI 6.0.

The Huawei Mate 10 Lite is a dual SIM phone, and both SIM slots are compatible with 4G and VoLTE. Other connectivity features include 802.11 b/g/n/ac WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS and a USB Type-C connector for charging and data transfer.
