LeEco Le Max 3

The LeEco Le Max 3 is a premium range smartphone with high-end specs that succeeds the Le Max 2. Its unique features include a dual camera and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor from Qualcomm.

The phone features a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution display. The device measures 157.25 x 77.95 x 7.99 mm while weighing 185 grams. The phone is available in coffee gray and gold colors.

The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EUI 5.8 on top on a Snapdragon 821 chipset with a 2.33 GHz 64-bit quad-core processor and 4GB of DDR4 RAM. Internal storage on the phone is limited to 64GB. An Adreno 530 GPU handles graphics on the phone.

The primary camera on the Le Max 3 is a dual camera that is 13-megapixels in addition to featuring dual-LED flash which can be used to capture stunning images. The dual imaging piece helps you capture vivid images besides improving low-light shots. The secondary camera is 16-megapixels, which can take incredibly clear pictures. Other media capabilities the phone is equipped with include Dolby Atmos and CDLA lossless audio. The battery on the phone is 3,900mAh powered by Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

The dual nano-SIM phone supports 4G VoLTE mobile data, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, GPS for navigation, USB Type-C. The phone also sports an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the front which requires the user to only touch and not swipe their finger as required by capacitive fingerprint scanners. This type of sensor also adds an extra layer of security to the phone as an ultrasonic scanner takes in 3D details as opposed to 2D details in a capacitive scanner, making them harder to fool. These are also touted to be tougher and more resistant to moisture or sweat while being discrete.
