Meizu Note 9 Lite

The Meizu Note 9 Lite is a cut-down version of the Meizu Note 9, and comes with slightly trimmed down specifications. However, it carries a similarly-sized screen, at 6.2 inches, and has the same panel type as well as resolution. It features an IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution (2244x1080 pixels). The phone has a very minimalistic design and uses a glass-and-polycarbonate body. There's a fingerprint reader on the rear, which acts as a biometric user authentication system. At the front, there are minimal bezels around the display. The phone keeps a 3.5mm headphone jack, too.

The Meizu 9 Lite uses a slightly slower processor - Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 - compared to the Meizu Note 9. However, for a screen resolution of Full HD+, the Snapdragon 660 is powerful enough to let you run all the apps and even graphically-intensive games satisfactorily. The phone uses 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Storage space can be further expanded using a microSD card (compatible up to 256GB microSD cards). The phone runs Android 9 Pie-based Flyme UI, which is extremely gesture driven and has a minimalistic UI design.

Unlike the Meizu Note 9, which comes with a 48MP primary camera sensor, the Meizu Note 9 Lite sticks with a conventional 12.2MP sensor for its dual-camera setup. The 12.2MP sensor can capture 4K videos at 30fps, too. The secondary 5MP sensor helps the phone in capturing depth information for creating images with background blur for a bokeh effect. There is an 8MP camera sensor at the front for capturing selfies and making video calls or video blogging. The phone also offers various real-time effects and filters for selfies.

The Meizu Note 9 Lite comes with a 3500mAh battery, which is slightly lower-capacity compared to the Meizu Note 9, but still good enough to last a whole day of moderate usage. The phone is also compatible with the company's in-house technology called mCharge, which can charge the battery with 24W of power. The phone features dual-SIM card slot with dual-4G LTE and dual-VoLTE features. Other connectivity features include GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0 Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
