Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM Details

The Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM is yet another budget smartphone that comes with attractive specifications which include a Snapdragon 200 chipset for good performance, an 8-megapixel autofocus primary shooter and 8GB expandable storage.
Display and Design
The device features a 5-inch HD display with (1280 720 pixels) screen resolution which results in a pixel density of 294 PPI. The device has decent viewing angles. The smartphone is available in cyan, orange, white and black colour variants. It is 9.35 mm thick and weighs a hefty 152 grams.
Platform and Memory
The phone runs the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system with Lumia Denim on top. While not as advanced as iOS or Android, Windows Phone is great for those who like a smartphone that is simple to use and gets the basic right, without being too heavy on the battery. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz and 1GB RAM which promises faster performance and easy multitasking. The device also comes with an internal storage capacity of 8GB, with a microSD slot that can add up to 128GB of further space. Of course, people can also move their files to cloud storage services.
Cameras and Battery
In the imaging department, it comes with an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera for clicking selfies and making effective video calls. The cameras are pretty standard fare for what we see on most phones in this price segment, but Nokia's prowess with cameras means users can expect a better than average imaging experience.
Connectivity and other features
Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 port alongside dual-SIM support. It is fuelled by a Li-Ion 2200mAh battery that can last up to 14.5 hours on 3G calls, and even more if users switch to a 2G connection.

New Microsoft Lumia 540 is similar to Lumia 535 but there is some more features in lumia 540 compared to lumia 535 for which we can pay our money.. As per specification it has got 5.0" ips lcd display with density of 294 ppi and it comes with Clear Black Display features- "ClearBlack display isn’t a completely new type of display technology like AMOLED. ClearBlack ensures that the blacks you see really are just that – black – which in turn enhances the contrast of the display and makes the whole screen much easier to see. " It comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset and CPU 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 and GPU of Adreno 302. it has 1gb ram and 8gb internal memory which can be expandable to 128gb via microsd. it has 8mp rear and 5mp wide angle front camera. it has 2200mAh battery which can provide standby of 576 hr on 2g and 3g networks, music playback of 81 hrs, and talktime of 26hrs on 2g and 15hrs on 3g networks. it comes in variant colours Orange, white, black, gray, blue. I bought blue one on last saturday it's working easily smart easy to operate and faster than any android device which comes at this price....(read more)

Glad that I chose the Lumia 540 over an Android device. My friend bought the Android device and he got trolled. :D The core performance of the Lumia 540 is something that has really impressed me. No lags whatsoever. Gaming is a total delight but you would love more is working on it. Cloud storage and quick access is very essential for me and editing or creating presentation also allows me to utilize my commuting time well. Have even tried my hand at the camera. Pro controls are something that I need to learn to enable better pictures. Low-lighting conditions do not pose a threat as images are alwsy sharper and crisper. To conclude, it’s a good device.(read more)
