Moto E9 flaunts a 6.5-inch HD+ display that provides 720x1600 pixels resolution, and gives you pixel density of 270 PPI. The display houses the front camera built within the waterdrop notch at the top-centre. The 20:9 aspect ratio of the screen provides a larger viewing area and a screen to body ratio of 81 percent. The power button and the volume rocker are on the right side of the phone. For security purpose, this phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and face unlock support that works through the selfie camera.

Moto has powered the device using the octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM. It offers 64GB internal storage that is expandable using the hybrid card slot. The phone runs on Android 11 version out of the box. Moto E9 comes with a dual rear camera that consists of a 48MP sensor, and 2MP sensor. It has a 5MP camera for selfies on the front that lets you shoot videos and take video calls.
