The first Motorola Razr made its debut about 15 years ago, and in an age where phones were just functional, it found a fan following of its own. The phone was stylish in a way never seen before, and it quickly became a favorite among people looking for something distinct. It has been a great many years since then, and Motorola has come a long way having seen many ups and downs, as a company. As of today, it operates as a subsidiary of Lenovo, a Chinese electronics behemoth. The last few years have been good for Motorola, but the brand decided to make a strong statement by launching the 2019 version of the much loved Motorola Razr. As expected, it created a huge buzz and it was exciting to see Motorola enter the world of folding phones, where only Samsung and Huawei had dared to tread. The phone was finally unveiled, and to be completely honest, it got a mixed reception. While the phone looked the part, the phone lacked a strong processor and a sizable battery. But many were willing to look beyond this for nostalgic reasons too. And now Motorola has had a year to improve its Razr, which has led to the Motorola Razr 2. The phone features a larger 6.7 inch folding P-OLED display that has a resolution of 876 x 2142 pixels. There is a G-OLED display on the clamshell as well. The smartphone is powered by a 5G network compatible Snapdragon 765 chipset and packs 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage space, so you’re looking at some juiced up performance specs. The camera gets upgraded as well as you now get a 48MP snapper on the back and on the front, a 20MP selfie camera. The phone’s battery gets bumped up to 2845mAh battery which means you can expect slightly better battery life, and if you don’t, at least you get 18W fast charging to refill it. Some of the popular Motorola mobile phones include the Motorola One Fusion , Motorola One Fusion Plus, and the Motorola Edge.
