The rear panel of the Nokia G31 is made of polycarbonate. On the rear panel of the phone is a huge camera module. The front panel includes a waterdrop notch display with a selfie camera. The Nokia G31 has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display is an IPS LCD with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. It also has a pixel density of 270ppi and 16 million colours. The phone has a fingerprint sensor on the back and face unlock.

An octa-core Unisoc T612 processor powers the Nokia G31. The SoC has Cortex A75 and Cortex A55 processors with clock speeds of up to 1.8GHz.
