Nokia Lumia 630 Dual Sim Review
By Asher, 105 months ago
I own a Lumia 630. It is a beautiful phone, the first dual sim variant in Lumia and is available in vibrant colours. I own the black one and believe me it looks like an iPhone (at least in looks, I'll tell you why). I love it and here I'm going to give my detailed views about the phone. LOOKS: As I already said, it looks like an iphone. It is slim and easy to hold. Also it weighs very less at 134 grams. The back cover surrounds the entire phone and makes it to look like an iphone. The back of the phone is flat and the camera is not protruding (like the Indian brand phones). It doesn't have any capacitive buttons (all are on screen) and the physical camera button is missing. When the display is off the front looks full black (also like iphone) which again adds to the aesthetics of the phone. The placement of the volume and power keys is also excellent and provides tactile response. DISPLAY: The phone sports a 4.5 inch FWVGA display (which is quite low in current standards) but the display looks colorful owing to the windows theme. The viewing angles are very good. The phone is not very bright and the sunlight legibility is not so good. Also the phone lacks an ambient sensor to increase the brightness automatically. INTERFACE: The phone comes with windows 8.1 which is the best and latest version of windows. The operating requires very less memory and is very fast. The phone has the best keyboard for messaging. The touchscreen is very sensitive and has good response. The onscreen keys take some space in the lower end and are fast. The notification panel at the top gives access to the basic functions of the phone. Also the dual sim management is easy to setup. PERFORMANCE AND HARDWARE: The phone does all the basic functions with ease due to the quad core chipset (in spite of the low 512mb ram). The phone handles low end games easily. In Case of high end games occasional frame drop is visible (but still manageable). The main advantage (that I found) is that it doesn’t heat up at all even under continuous usage. Multitasking works well up to three minimised windows, beyond that some lag is seen. It has a removable battery. The phone has a sensorcore(separate processor for sensors) so the battery consumption is comparatively very less. I'm getting two days of battery which is very surprising. The sound quality is also very good with less distortion. The phone doesn’t have OTG capabilities. Wifi connectivity is very fast and the transfer rates are also good. The phone latches to the network very fast and also the call quality is brilliant (like the other nokia phones). CAMERA: It has a 5megapixel (an 8mp unit would have been more satisfying) rear camera and lacks a front camera. Also it lacks a front camera for selfies (the most disappointing part). The camera performs well under well-lit conditions and also provides decent images in low light. The photos are good for posting in social networks. WHOM IS THIS PHONE FOR ? : This phone is meant for people who love messaging and browsing, and need good battery backup (like me). If you are a photo enthusiast or a hardcore gamer don’t buy this phone.(read more)

About Front Camera
By Nawaraj Bhattarai, 108 months ago
Everything seems fine. I just want to suggest to add a 2 MP front camera to it. It'll increase the market coverage and helps to gain the lost market
