OnePlus One Details

OnePlus One is a device that one cannot afford to look down. The device comes with mindboggling features at an attractive price. The Android based smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch LCD display with (1920 x 1080 pixels) screen resolution which boasts an effective pixel density of 401 PPI. The capacitive screen supports 10 point multitouch and features Corning's Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The OnePlus One is available in Silk White and Sandstone Black colour variants. HTC One (M8) and Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with similar features but OnePlus One stands out if one takes his budget into consideration.
The brightness levels on the device is good and the viewing angles are better than LG G3 so is the colour contrast. The CyanogenMod 11S allows the user to customise the display by self-adjusting the hue, saturation, contrast and intensity. In terms of memory, the device has 3 GB LP DDR3 RAM paired with an internal storage capacity of 64 GB. Unfortunately, the smartphone does not house a microSD card slot to boost the storage option.
Under the hood the device is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Krait 400 processor with Adreno 330 GPU. The smartphone features ceramic power and volume buttons like the Nexus 5 which are placed at comfortable positions for easy access. The device also ships with a tangle-free USB cable with exposed pins and a unique strap. Dual loudspeakers and the microUSB port come at the bottom of OnePlus One.
The device is compatible with 4G LTE bands and also features Dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.1, GLONASS A-GPS, NFC and microUSB 2.0 port. The Wi-Fi Direct mode allows it to connect wirelessly to other devices without requiring a wireless access point. The DLNA mode on the smartphone allows the user to share data over a home network with other DLNA compatible devices. The 13-megapixel Sony Exmor rear camera captures dynamic images and has the capacity to record 4K videos at 63 Mbps. High Frame Rate (HFR) videos can also be recorded in Full HD resolution. The 5-megapixel front camera clicks distortion free images and can record high definition videos. The notification bar on the device can also be customised, one can set a number of toggles and re-arrange them as per your liking. The device is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery which lasts really long and keeps your device functioning throughout the day. Sadly the device is not IP67 certified which means that it is not dust-proof and water-resistant.

OnePlus One is the midrange high end phone.
By Arsh Azam, 94 months ago
The world's best mid range phone which can even beat all those phones which are double in price as compared to OnePlus One, everything about this phone is awesome, the 13MP camera with a 4k video recording and also clicks awesome pic even in low light, the front 5MP camera is very good for selfies and 5.5 inch screen with 1080p resolution display. Snapdragon chipset & the quad core 2.5GHz CPU gives the phone an ultimate speed for gaming, web browsing & downloading. The phone can run any heavy game & heavy software easily & the 3GB RAM makes the phone even more ultimate, giving a good speed, multitasking & gaming. The phone's response is very quick in opening & closing any file, software & game. And the Cyanogenmod in this phone makes it different, you will experience a lot more new features which you have never seen before. If you're a heavy user or gamer then this phone is the best option at a low price. Overall, this phone looks very good & expensive, everything about the phone is pretty awesome, you can never get an ultimate phone at this price.(read more)
