The OPPO F21 Pro Plus gets a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that has Full HD+ 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a pixel density of 409 PPI. The display panel features a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner which includes the selfie camera. For the security purpose, the OPPO F21 Pro Plus has an in-display fingerprint sensor and a face unlock support. The smartphone runs Android 11 out of the box with ColorOS 11 on top.

An octa-core Snapdragon 888 processor equipped with Adreno 660 GPU handles the performance usage of the OPPO F21 Pro Plus. The smartphone has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device features a triple-camera setup, which includes a 48MP main camera, 8MP wide-angle camera, 5MP sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.
