At Rs 42,999, is the OnePlus 13R worth it in 2025? Absolutely. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the 13R delivers excellent performance with clean software and minimal bloatware. Design-wise, the OnePlus 12R had a more premium look, but the 13R's design is still solid - personal preference plays a big part here. The display is vibrant, with immersive audio and good brightness even in sunlight. The camera captures sharp daylight shots, and the telephoto lens is a nice touch. Low-light photos may not always impress, but it's not a deal-breaker. Despite the price hike, the OnePlus 13R continues to impress, carrying forward the legacy of its predecessors with subtle, smart improvements.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 is a compact phone featuring a 6.1-inch AMOLED display with uniform bezels. It's powered by the Exynos 2400 SoC, which excels at multitasking. The phone handles any task with ease and performs well in gaming. The 120Hz refresh rate enhances the display, making it buttery smooth. After extended gaming sessions, it doesn't heat up excessively. However, the phone has a 4000mAh battery, which is quite small compared to other budget and mid-range smartphones. Despite this, the battery life is good, lasting almost 24 hours with light usage. The phone supports 25W charging, which is relatively low, and unfortunately, it doesn't include a charger in the box. Regarding the camera, the phone boasts a 50MP primary camera, a 10MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera on the rear. The primary and telephoto cameras perform well, but the ultra-wide camera still lacks autofocus. Low-light photography is decent but can sometimes be grainy. On the front, there's a 12MP selfie camera that works effectively. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S24 is a compact phone with strong performance, impressive cameras, and good battery life.

The Pixel 9a comes in 3,000 cheaper than the Pixel 8a, but the savings bring a mix of upgrades and trade-offs. You get a faster Tensor G4 chip, though the phone still heats up during extended camera use. The main camera now has fewer megapixels, but better aperture helps capture bright, detailed shots - even foggy ones. Battery life is solid, lasting a full day with ease. The display gets slightly bigger, but thick bezels remain. On the plus side, the panel quality and stereo speakers are great for media. The real win here is the software - clean, smooth, and packed with helpful AI tools found on pricier Pixel models. If you value a polished everyday experience over raw power, the Pixel 9a fits the bill. Otherwise, consider the OnePlus 13R, Xiaomi 14 CIVI, or Realme GT 6 for more performance.

The OPPO Reno13 Pro offers a premium design, solid cameras, and a smooth software experience. However, compared to the Reno12 Pro, it doesn't bring a major upgrade. The butterfly-illusion effect is eye-catching, but the rest of the design feels familiar. The display is sharp, with HDR 10 improving multimedia, while the audio adds to the experience. For performance, it's not the best. It handles daily tasks well but struggles with gaming and benchmarking. Alternatives like the iQOO 12 or OnePlus 13R may be better for gamers. The camera is good, but a few minor issues can be fixed via an update. ColorOS 15 is visually engaging but suffers from bloatware, making the interface feel cluttered. Overall, the Reno13 Pro brings meaningful improvements, but it still needs refinement to match a truly premium experience.

The Galaxy S23 is a high-spirited phone, with powerful innards, no heating issues (so far) and decent cameras. Just picking it up can sometimes cheer you. We are just hoping the battery life improves with the Adaptive battery tech running in the background and that in the next iteration, the entire Galaxy S line-up gets new lenses or anti-glare coating.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 flaunts a 6.1-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is quite brighter, thanks to the 1300 nits brightness. The hardware performance is top-notch, considering that the device packs Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and 8GB of RAM. On the software front, the S22 runs Android 12 OS with One UI 4.0 on top. However, the device lacks a microSD card support and the handset only supports 25W fast charging. The Galaxy S22 is overall a good smartphone, which you can consider buying, as it offers a brighter 120Hz display, good hardware performance, and runs the latest Android OS version out of the box.

The Infinix Zero Flip impresses as the brand's first flip phone. It boasts a large cover display and an excellent primary camera, ideal for self-portraits. Its wide internal screen and great audio enhance content consumption, backed by a long-lasting battery. However, the hinge could be smoother, and the UI needs refinement in future updates. Despite these first-gen drawbacks, it's a solid choice for flip phone enthusiasts seeking style and performance.

The cameras do a reliable job for its purpose, and it can handle some level water splashes. However, the selfie camera is average, the storage is not expandable and the average battery life only gets 15W charging support for its price, which is not acceptable these days. Definitely worth buying if you want to own the foldable experience.

The Motorola Razr 50 is an impressive flip phone, with a big external display, more than decent cameras, and a clean and neat UI experience. For those who don't wish to spend a lot of money, it's a good option. Although, it could've included a high-end chipset and faster charging speeds.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra offers a significant improvement compared to its predecessor. The handset features a 6.9-inch pOLED display that has up to 165Hz refresh rate. The secondary display on the device is of 3.6-inches. It's also an AMOLED panel which can display notifications, weather alerts, calendar, and quick settings. Powering the smartphone under the hood there is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC which is fast and powerful. The device features a 12MP dual-camera setup which takes some excellent photos. The smartphone however has slow wired and wireless charging support. Additionally, the device doesn't have a microSD card either. If you are primarily looking for a clamshell-like foldable phone with a good display, design, performance, and cameras, then the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will get all things done.

The OnePlus 12R closely resembles its older sibling, the OnePlus 12. It features a glossy back panel that does get covered in fingerprints easily. Still, the phone is comfortable to hold and well-built. This phone features a 6.78-inch ProXDR display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is bright and offers a great viewing experience. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is slightly older, the chipset handles everyday tasks and heavy gaming efficiently. If you're looking for a smartphone that balances performance and gaming, the 12R is a strong choice. At the back, the 12R boasts a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The photos are crisp and detailed, but if you prioritise advanced photography features, you might prefer the OnePlus 12. The phone has a 5500mAh battery and comes with an 80W charging adapter. You can expect a full day of battery life with light to moderate use. Overall, the OnePlus 12R offers a flagship-level experience at a more affordable price.

OPPO Find N2 Flip joins the flip form-factor competition and takes on its closest rival, the Galaxy Z Flip 4. The phone ticks all the right boxes - be it screen, display or cameras. The cover screen is the biggest USP of the package, while bloatware is its weakest link. Overall, the Find N2 Flip is an excellent package for those looking for a flip-design phone.
