The Galaxy S23 is a high-spirited phone, with powerful innards, no heating issues (so far) and decent cameras. Just picking it up can sometimes cheer you. We are just hoping the battery life improves with the Adaptive battery tech running in the background and that in the next iteration, the entire Galaxy S line-up gets new lenses or anti-glare coating.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 flaunts a 6.1-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is quite brighter, thanks to the 1300 nits brightness. The hardware performance is top-notch, considering that the device packs Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and 8GB of RAM. On the software front, the S22 runs Android 12 OS with One UI 4.0 on top. However, the device lacks a microSD card support and the handset only supports 25W fast charging. The Galaxy S22 is overall a good smartphone, which you can consider buying, as it offers a brighter 120Hz display, good hardware performance, and runs the latest Android OS version out of the box.

The Google Pixel 7 features a 6.3-inch FHD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 60Hz to 90Hz. The display offers vibrant colours and a pleasant viewing experience. The Pixel 7 has a solid build quality, though it can become uncomfortable to hold after long periods. The stereo speakers deliver excellent volume and clarity. In terms of cameras, the Pixel 7 includes a 50MP wide camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera on the back, and a 10.8MP selfie camera on the front. The camera app offers a variety of features, including Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Cinematic Blur. The image quality of the wide camera is impressive, but the ultra-wide camera's results are too narrow compared to other smartphones. The Pixel 7 is powered by the Tensor G2 SoC, which handles everyday tasks smoothly. However, extended gaming sessions can cause the back panel to heat up. The phone has a 4355mAh battery, smaller than the Pixel 6's. It runs on Android 13 out of the box and will be among the first to receive the Android 14 update. The software provides a stock Android experience with excellent features. If you're looking for a flagship device with good cameras, great features, a stock Android experience, and reliable performance for daily tasks, the Pixel 7 is an excellent choice.

The OnePlus 12R closely resembles its older sibling, the OnePlus 12. It features a glossy back panel that does get covered in fingerprints easily. Still, the phone is comfortable to hold and well-built. This phone features a 6.78-inch ProXDR display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is bright and offers a great viewing experience. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is slightly older, the chipset handles everyday tasks and heavy gaming efficiently. If you're looking for a smartphone that balances performance and gaming, the 12R is a strong choice. At the back, the 12R boasts a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The photos are crisp and detailed, but if you prioritise advanced photography features, you might prefer the OnePlus 12. The phone has a 5500mAh battery and comes with an 80W charging adapter. You can expect a full day of battery life with light to moderate use. Overall, the OnePlus 12R offers a flagship-level experience at a more affordable price.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra offers a significant improvement compared to its predecessor. The handset features a 6.9-inch pOLED display that has up to 165Hz refresh rate. The secondary display on the device is of 3.6-inches. It's also an AMOLED panel which can display notifications, weather alerts, calendar, and quick settings. Powering the smartphone under the hood there is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC which is fast and powerful. The device features a 12MP dual-camera setup which takes some excellent photos. The smartphone however has slow wired and wireless charging support. Additionally, the device doesn't have a microSD card either. If you are primarily looking for a clamshell-like foldable phone with a good display, design, performance, and cameras, then the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will get all things done.

The Reno 10 Pro Plus is a well-rounded option at an affordable price. Its sleek design catches your attention, and the vibrant display keeps you captivated. The camera upgrades are impressive, especially the telephoto lens. The performance is excellent, too, more than adequate for heavy-duty tasks. However, the excessive pre-installed apps are a drawback, especially at this price.

The Galaxy Note 10 Plus is among the best high-end phones you can buy right now. Apart from the missing headphone jack, there's nothing else that I could think of, being particularly bad on the phone. It has an eye-catching design, it feels thinner than it actually is, and it has the best display in the smartphone business, as of 2019. The Exynos 9825 brings speed and smoothness, and One UI is one of the nicest feeling software in the business. All four cameras on the phone are excellent. While the Note 10 Plus can't quite reach the level and clarity of the P30 Pro's camera in low-light conditions, it more than makes up for it in the video recording capability. The phone has dozens of useful features, including Samsung Pay and water resistance. Battery life is good, too, but not among the best in the business. All-in-all, it is one of the best phones released in 2019.

The Nokia X30 may not be the most affordable option on the market, with an MSRP of Rs.48,999 but it does have a few features that make it stand out. While the choice of chipset may result in mediocre performance and limited video recording capabilities, the 3-year warranty and guaranteed software updates for the same period of time could be appealing to those who prefer to keep their phones for as long as possible. If you're considering buying the Nokia X30, we would recommend exploring alternative options in a similar price range.

The third-generation of Galaxy Z Fold 3 looks to appeal to more buyers with its price tag. It has the power, design and foldable form factor in its favour. The cameras do a reliable job for its purpose, and it can handle some level water splashes. However, the selfie camera is average, the storage is not expandable and the average battery life only gets 15W charging support for its price, which is not acceptable these days. Definitely worth buying if you want to own the foldable experience.
