The Pixel 7a is the most practical Pixel to date, offering the best combination of specifications, experience and cameras. But, it's still a bit underpowered compared to the competition and it charges extremely slowly.

The Google Pixel 7 features a 6.3-inch FHD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 60Hz to 90Hz. The display offers vibrant colours and a pleasant viewing experience. The Pixel 7 has a solid build quality, though it can become uncomfortable to hold after long periods. The stereo speakers deliver excellent volume and clarity. In terms of cameras, the Pixel 7 includes a 50MP wide camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera on the back, and a 10.8MP selfie camera on the front. The camera app offers a variety of features, including Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Cinematic Blur. The image quality of the wide camera is impressive, but the ultra-wide camera's results are too narrow compared to other smartphones. The Pixel 7 is powered by the Tensor G2 SoC, which handles everyday tasks smoothly. However, extended gaming sessions can cause the back panel to heat up. The phone has a 4355mAh battery, smaller than the Pixel 6's. It runs on Android 13 out of the box and will be among the first to receive the Android 14 update. The software provides a stock Android experience with excellent features. If you're looking for a flagship device with good cameras, great features, a stock Android experience, and reliable performance for daily tasks, the Pixel 7 is an excellent choice.

The Pixel 9a comes in 3,000 cheaper than the Pixel 8a, but the savings bring a mix of upgrades and trade-offs. You get a faster Tensor G4 chip, though the phone still heats up during extended camera use. The main camera now has fewer megapixels, but better aperture helps capture bright, detailed shots - even foggy ones. Battery life is solid, lasting a full day with ease. The display gets slightly bigger, but thick bezels remain. On the plus side, the panel quality and stereo speakers are great for media. The real win here is the software - clean, smooth, and packed with helpful AI tools found on pricier Pixel models. If you value a polished everyday experience over raw power, the Pixel 9a fits the bill. Otherwise, consider the OnePlus 13R, Xiaomi 14 CIVI, or Realme GT 6 for more performance.

The Pixel 9 Pro is compact, cute, and features impressive cameras - especially the 5x optical zoom and selfie cam. It handles daily tasks effortlessly, with battery life lasting well into the next day. The clean software and game-changing AI features, like Pixel Screenshots and automatic photo edits, are highlights. While its performance lags behind the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and others, it outshines the pricier Pixel 9 Pro XL. It can heat up during gaming or camera use, but cools down fast. Overall, it's a reliable, user-friendly device with long software support - though you'll pay a premium for it.

The Pixel 9 is a solid upgrade but feels pricey at Rs 79,999. If you're choosing between this and the Samsung Galaxy S24, go with the S24 for better performance, a telephoto camera, and more storage. However, the Pixel 9 stands out with innovative AI features like Magic Lists and Reimagine. If those AI tools appeal to you, it's a great pick. For budget-conscious users focused on gaming and fast charging, consider alternatives like the OnePlus 12, Xiaomi 14, or iQOO 12.

The Pixel 9 Pro XL feels like the new standout in the Pixel family. It nails the premium look - sleek design, sharp camera module, and a selfie camera that captures every detail, right down to skin texture and hair follicles. Plus, Google's signature AI magic is baked into the software, making the experience even smarter. But here's the catch - AI isn't just Google's thing anymore. Apple's got its own take with Apple Intelligence, and Samsung and OnePlus are hot on its heels. So, Pixel's exclusivity in AI is fading fast. Performance-wise, it doesn't lead the pack. If you need raw power, the Galaxy S24 Ultra might be your go-to. For photography, the Vivo X100 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Ultra are solid alternatives, though each has trade-offs. That said, if you value a clean interface, reliable everyday use, and a killer selfie camera, the XL price tag could still feel worth it.
