The Poco C61 boasts a larger display, an attractive design, and a battery that can last up to two days. Its 6.71-inch IPS LCD display, while not top-tier, comes at a reasonable price and offers a decent 90Hz refresh rate for a smoother experience. Now, under the hood, it's powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC. It's a budget chip, but it'll handle your everyday stuff just fine. It can even run games like BGMI and COD at lower settings, though it's not geared towards high-performance gaming. Its camera setup includes an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera, providing decent picture quality. The real standout feature is its 5000mAh battery, offering impressive longevity. What really sets this phone apart is its inclusion of Android 14 out-of-the-box, offering users the latest software experience. With MIUI 14 providing extensive customization options and features like the MIUI dialer for call recording, it adds significant value to the package. For those looking for a wallet-friendly smartphone without compromising on essential features, the Poco C61 is a compelling option at the lowest end of the budget spectrum.

Realme C11 gets a large display with support for big capacity battery and runs on the Android 10-based Realme UI. However, the MediaTek Helio G35 processor with 2GB of RAM sounds underwhelming and you get better phones from Redmi and Realme's Narzo sub-brand in the same price range.

Samsung Galaxy M01 Core gets a HD+ display, runs on the Android 10 Go edition and comes packed with a 3,000mAh battery. However, the phone only comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Also, the phone does not feature a rear fingerprint sensor or LED flash on the back camera. Strictly meant for basic mobile usage.

The Redmi 5A is one of the best entry-level smartphones offered by Xiaomi. Its battery backup is wonderful, and the display quality is quite satisfactory. While a fingerprint scanner and better cameras could have helped, these aren't major concerns considering how affordable this handset is. It certainly gets our recommendation for someone looking for a basic smartphone to get the job done.

Realme C20 is budget device that comes powered by MediaTek Helio G35 chipset. It gets a 6.5-inch HD+ screen quality and offers long backup thanks to the built-in 5,000mAh battery. The single rear camera does a good job, and you get 32GB internal storage. But it only gets 2GB RAM, runs on Android 10 and supports charging via microUSB port. Worth looking at other options in this price range.

Nokia 2720 Flip phone is made of cheap plastic. The phone with large numeric keys offers an ideal for senior citizens for easy dialing. The camera's positioning is yet another flaw as it gets covered while you try to take a picture. Overall, the phone is a bit overpriced, and you get plenty of available options in the Android smartphone segment at the same price point.

The Realme 3i offers a unique look with matte finish paint. While its screen resolution appears low, it also serves as an advantage in terms of battery life as the Helio P70 doesn't have to push as many pixels to drive the HD screen. Its cameras are nothing to write home about and the phone still uses the old microUSB port for charging. At least it comes with dedicated microUSB and dual SIM card slots and it will receive the Android 10 upgrade in 2020. Realme 3i is not a bad phone but it doesn't get our whole-hearted recommendation either.

The Poco C31 is an affordable offering by Poco that comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display. The device is powered by an octa-core Helio G35 SoC. It packs up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device's hardware and camera performance are average. The smartphone runs an outdated Android 10 version out of the box. The device has microUSB 2.0 port. If you are looking for a device with a larger 6.5-inch display and a longer battery life, the Poco C31 is the best offering. However, you will have to compromise on several things such as performance, cameras, and slower charging speed.

I Kall K1000 is certainly a mixed bag as it shines in certain aspects like huge internal memory and 4G VoLTE support. On the other hand, the handset ships only with a single rear camera, whereas dual-camera smartphones are available at this price point. Further, the below-average processor and older Android version (Marshmallow) does add to its woes.

Infinix is offering a decent set of features with the Smart HD 2021, especially for its price. You get a large screen with support for HD+ resolution and Android 10 out of box. The phone packs an octa-core chipset with 2GB RAM that should offer basic computing power for daily usage. And the large battery on board should offer long backup. However, the cameras are basic and offer nothing special. You have other options to consider in this segment.
