The Galaxy S10 may very well be the best and most complete flagship smartphone of 2019. It has all the features and specifications one could think of, and its pricing is also not as outrageous as some of its competitors. The S10 is also pretty much the same phone as the larger S10+, thus offering better overall value.

The Galaxy Note 9 is an ideal device for those who want all the high-end features in one package. However, the phone does have its own set of limitations that can easily be fulfilled by other phones on the market that are available at lesser cost. In the end, it all boils down to what one wants in a flagship. If you are a user who prefers notch-less screen, flagship hardware, premium build, superb camera performance, and decent battery backup then the Note 9 is just what you are looking. If you can compromise on any of the elements then you have various alternatives such as OnePlus 6 or the Poco F1.

There is no doubt that iPhone X is the most feature-packed and the best performing smartphone of its age. However, its high pricing and the notch diverts people from buying it.

OnePlus used to take consumer needs into account with its previous offerings. However, the decision to use a slow fingerprint sensor, remove the headphone jack and increase the base variant's price makes it feel as if the brand is moving away from its original image. On its own, the OnePlus 6T is a good phone thanks to its attractive design, good battery, decent performance, and impressive rear camera. However, the OnePlus 6 users are better off by not upgrading to the 6T. Other alternatives at lower price points include the ASUS Zenfone 5Z and the LG G7 ThinQ.

Effortless design, impressive and notch-less screen, stereo speakers, eye-candy UI, great cameras, microSD card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, and wireless charging all make up for a great recipe. However, a throttling processor and short battery life keep the Galaxy S9 from being a great all-round smartphone.
