Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime

The Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime is the most affordable Android-based smartphone in the Samsung's J series. The device sits below the popular Samsung J7 Prime and the J5 Prime. The device measures 139.7 x 69.85 x 8.89mm and weighs 148 grammes.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime comes with HD resolution in a 5-inch screen estate, and it supports multitouch. For imaging, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime uses a 5-megapixel primary shooter and a 2-megapixel secondary shooter. The primary camera is aided by an LED flash and autofocus, whereas, the secondary shooter neither has autofocus nor an LED flash.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is packed with Exynos 7570 processor that contains quad-core processor at 1.4GHz and Mali-T720 GPU. The device has 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. Surprisingly, Samsung has chosen 14nm process technology in its processor that results in a very low power consumption. The J3 Prime has all the basic sensors such as proximity, ambient light, gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass. Apart from the Samsung's Galaxy S8+, the J3 Prime is the only device from Samsung as of April 2017 to come pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime draws its juice from a 2,600 mAh battery that can be charged through the provided 5V/1A charger. As for the wireless connectivity, the Galaxy J3 Prime uses dual-SIM 4G LTE, Wi-Fi ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.1, and GPS. For wired connectivity, the device uses a microUSB v2.0 port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
