Samsung Galaxy M44 5G

The South-Korean smartphone maker Samsung is expanding its M-series with the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy M44 5G smartphone. This latest smartphone from Samsung arrives as a successor to the Galaxy M33. The Galaxy M44 comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. The device has a Full HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone has thin bezels across the display, 120Hz refresh rate, and a 393 PPI pixel density. The display panel also has a Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone features a water-drop shaped notch at the top of the display which consists of a selfie camera. The Galaxy M44 5G runs Android 13 out of the box with One UI 5.1 skin on top.

The Samsung Galaxy M44 5G is powered by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 888 SoC. The Snapdragon 888 is an octa-core 5nm chipset which consists of a single-core Cortex X1 core clocked at 2.84GHz, tri-core Cortex A78 core clocked at 1.8GHz, and a quad-core Cortex A55 core clocked at 1.8GHz. The chipset efficiently handles all the multitasking, gaming, and faster app launches. The smartphone has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device also has a microSD card slot which allows storage expansion up to 1TB. In terms of imaging, the Galaxy M44 5G features a 50MP primary camera which has a f/1.8 aperture. Accompanying the 50MP sensor there is a 13MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP sensor. For the selfies and video-calling support, the Galaxy M44 5G relies on a 16MP camera. The device also features a stereo speaker setup.

The Galaxy M44 5G is backed by a 6,000mAh battery which can easily last throughout the day on a single charge. The device also supports 25W fast charging. Connectivity-wise, the M44 5G has a dual-SIM card slot, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, OTG support, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
