The Galaxy Tab S2 Nook is the latest tablet out of the stables of the Korean manufacturer Samsung. The Tablet features an 8-inch Super AMOLED QXGA (2048x1536 pixels) screen resolution that reproduces crystal clear images and offers decent legibility outdoors.

The Tab S2 Nook can be effectively used for capturing videos and clicking images using the 8-megapixel primary camera. However, photography in dull condition suffers due to the absence of LED flash. For video calling via Messenger and Skype, the user can use the 2.1-megapixel front-facing snapper.

The tablet comes with an array of connectivity options that helps you stay connected all the time via Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. Having a similar size as the iPad Mini, the Tab S2 Nook is the thinnest tablet available measuring only 5.6 mm. The device is packed by a 4,000 mAh battery which is expected to keep the tablet functioning throughout the day.

At its heart, the Galaxy Tab S2 Nook is powered with a 1.3 GHz octa-core Exynos 5433 processor and 3GB of RAM. For storing apps and files like images, videos, etc there is 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

Running Android 5.1 Lollipop, the tablet can be used for viewing videos, reading, browsing the web and playing games courtesy its big screen. The home button also has an integrated fingerprint scanner.
