Sony Xperia Compact Flip

The Sony Xperia Compact Flip is a compact clamshell foldable smartphone from Sony which arrives with a 6.7-inch display. The device has a Dynamic AMOLED panel with a 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution. The device has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 401 PPI. The handset has up to 120Hz refresh rate which offers a smooth scrolling experience. The device also has Corning Gorilla Glass protection for damage protection from any drops or scratches. The device also has a secondary display on the backside which measures about 3.6 inches. It's also an AMOLED panel that has a 260 x 512 pixels resolution. The Xperia Compact Flip also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in a power button. The Xperia Compact Flip runs Android 13 OS with stock Android UI on top.

The Sony Xperia Compact Flip boasts a dual-camera setup at the back beside the secondary display. The camera setup on the back consists of a 12MP primary camera which has an f/1.8 aperture and 4K video-recording support. The 12MP sensor also has a PDAF and an OIS. Accompanying the 12MP sensor there is a 12MP ultra-wide camera which has a f/2.2 aperture. On the frontside, the device features a 10MP selfie camera with a f/2.4 aperture.

An octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor is used by Sony to power the Xperia Compact Flip. The device has up to 8GB of RAM. With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and 8GB of RAM, the device can all the multitasking and performance-intensive tasks with ease. The Adreno 740 GPU handles the graphical performance on the handset. The device comes with 128GB of internal storage which is non-expandable.

The smartphone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery unit which offers 25W fast charging support. The handset also has an IP68 rating and stereo speaker setup. In terms of connectivity, the device has several features like Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, NFC, and a dual-SIM card slot.
