Design and Display
In terms of design, the Tecno Camon 17P is available in three color variants- Frost Sliver, Magnet Black, and Spruce Green. The smartphone measures 168.6 x 76.4 x 8.8mm in dimensions. The IPS LCD display of the handset measures 6.8-inches offering a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels. The display offers 395ppi pixel density and a calculated screen-to-body ratio of 85.37%. The bezel-less display has a punch-hole cutout at the center for the selfie camera.
Camera and Security
For imaging duties, the Tecno Camon 17P equips a triple camera array on the rear featuring a 64MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. It is accompanied by a Quad-LED flash on the rear. For selfie lovers, the smartphone equips a 16MP selfie camera at the front.
Storage and Performance
As for the storage, the Tecno Camon 17P packs 128GB of internal memory. It is important to note that the handset does not support expandable memory. In terms of performance, the smartphone comes powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor built using 12nm fabrication. The smartphone has 6GB of RAM for smooth multitasking performance. There is a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU that handles the graphical performance.
Battery and Connectivity
Moving on to the battery, the Tecno Camon 17P is fueled by a 5000mAh battery. The battery is Li-Polymer type and is non-removable in nature. It supports 18W fast-charging via a USB Type-C port. As for the connectivity options, the dual-SIM nano handset supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS with A-GPS, mass storage device, USB charging. The device houses a 3.5mm headphone jack for connecting wired headsets.
