The phone has a quad-curved design, with the display being curved along the edges. The Nex 5 5G boasts of a 6.78-inches Super AMOLED display that offers a screen resolution of 1080 x 2256 pixels and 369ppi pixel density. The display is bezel-less and gets HDR 10+ certification. It has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. 
 

For photography, the Nex 5 5G equips a triple camera setup on the backside. It includes a 50MP primary camera, a 13MP telephoto camera, and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The new phone in the Nex series ships with a 32MP pop-up selfie camera at the front. For secure biometric authentication, the phone is provided with an optical on-screen fingerprint sensor. 

The Vivo Nex 5 5G comes with an impressive internal storage configuration of 256GB that offers enough memory for storing all user files and data. However, there is no option for expandable memory, and users have to contend with the internal memory only, which is certainly disappointing. As for the performance, the high-end phone from Vivo comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 octa-core processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. For graphics, the phone features an Adreno 650GPU. 
 

The Vivo Nex 5 5G is fueled by a 4500mAh Li-Polymer battery that can be charged via a USB Type-C port. The phone comes with 65W fast-charging support that quickly refills the battery post battery drain. In terms of connectivity options, the phone supports 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS with A-GPS, NFC for connectivity, USB charging, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
