The Vivo V12 Pro's FunTouch OS 5.0 software is based on Android 9 Pie operating system, and it runs on the combination of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 AIE mobile processing platform, 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage (depending on the storage variant). There's a microSD card slot for storage expansion, and it is compatible with up to 256GB microSD cards.

The Vivo V12 Pro comes packed with a 3700mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery, which is bigger than the battery found inside the Vivo V11 Pro that was released in 2018. The battery can be rapidly charged using Vivo's proprietary Dual-Engine fast charging technology.
