The Redmi Note 12R comes with a dimensions of 6.64 x 3 x 0.32 inches and a weight of 199 grams. It has a large 6.79-inch bezel-less IPS LCD display, offering a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen-to-body ratio is 85.35%, pixel density is 396 ppi that provides an immersive viewing experience. The display is also equipped with a punch-hole for the front camera.

The Redmi Note 12R is equipped with a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50 MP primary camera with wide-angle lens and a 2 MP depth lens. The primary camera has an aperture of f/2.4. The phone runs on 4 GB of RAM and has an internal storage capacity of 128 GB, which can be expanded up to 1 TB using a microSD card. It operates on the Android v13 operating system with MIUI custom UI.

The Redmi Note 12R is backed by a 5000 mAh Li-Polymer battery that supports fast charging at 22.5W, ensuring quick and convenient charging. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports dual SIM configuration with 5G and 4G network capabilities on both SIM slots. It offers Wi-Fi with support for a/ac/b/g/n/n 5GHz, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C for data transfer and charging, GPS with A-GPS, and infrared.
