Xiaomi Redmi Note is big, bold and its cheap. The phone comes with a vibrant display, 3G connectivity and is powered by a octa-core MediaTek chipset.

The smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash which is capable of capturing high quality images and record Full HD videos. Paired with the primary camera the device also has a 5-megapixel secondary camera on board. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor with clock speed of 1.7GHz and 2GB RAM. The front camera also records Full HD videos and allows you to capture amazing selfies. The image quality does not differ much in low-lighting situations thanks to the presence of LED flash.

A plastic body and 5.5-inch display makes the device pretty hefty: 199 grams. But with a similar screen size, the LG G3 looks smaller when placed beside the Xiaomi Redmi Note. The phone has rounded corners that sits well in the palm. On board storage is limited to 8GB but that shouldn't be a concern as there is an external microSD card slot which can expand the storage capacity up to 32 GB.
